South Tropical Trail is one of Brevard’s most prestigious addresses offering beautiful sunrises or sunsets and a boaters paradise. The demand for vacant land along the South Tropical Trail area has far outweighed supply within the last twelve months. Just twelve to twenty four months ago it was nearly impossible to finance vacant land with limited options and now with banks willing to finance and buyers more than willing to buy properties the inventory is not staying on the market long. In the last twelve months there has been over a dozen vacant land sales just on South Tropical Trail alone and this demand has led to a surge in new construction along South Tropical Trail. Custom home builders are thrilled and are building dream homes for our new neighbors in the South Tropical Trail area. Market conditions have been very favorable with lower interests rates and lower construction costs but there is still a low supply of homes for sale on the river along the South Tropical Trail area. The Pineda extension has also opened up the market to a broader range of buyers that may not have considered South Tropical Trail in the past as it provides quick and convenient access to 1-95, the new Viera hospital, the main land and the beaches. Market conditions will always be driven by supply and demand and right now its a sellers market along the water as there are eager buyers ready to move on the water and the inventory remains low. For how long we will see but one thing is for sure waterfront property and the lifestyle it attracts will always be in high demand!
